We are building a new team of Compliance Analysts to support our Audit Center of Excellence and we are looking for a Manager/ Leader that will take care of operations and people.

This team will support collection of audit PBC items review the auditors requests and assign the requests to responsible parties. Auditor Center of Excellence will cooperate with different stake holders with the DN and 3rdparties service providers and auditors and ensure audits are completed on time. This a hybrid role which will bring a greater exposure of working with a wide range of business areas and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with best-in-class financial intelligence and a proven track record of success in supporting a rapidly growing business. This highly visible role will be based in our Warsaw office as a member of our Controlling Center (EMEA) team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for annual statutory and group audits for various legal entities within EMEA region
  • Develop the annual audit plan and monitor the progress for the overall audit status.
  • Review the audit PBC list and assign open items to responsible parties
  • Prepare audit lead sheets and pull initial data from systems (i.e. mapping trial balances data dump as needed) and historical files
  • Collect audit sample supporting documents from systems when available
  • Review the samples supporting documents provided and ensure they are accurate.
  • Liaison with different stake holders internal (local country shared service/GBS RCC tax HR legal treasury) and external (EY etc) to ensure audits are completed on time.
  • Prepare analytical analysis according to the audit requests as needed.
  • Other ad hoc audit related tasks/project as needed
  • Managerial tasks
  • Leading the team and provide supports to the team as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Business School or equivalent university education with a major in accounting
  • 7 years professional experience in public accounting or industry with increasing responsibilities
  • Demonstrable progressive work experience within finance/ accounting functions
    • Hands on experience in auditing/(combination with accounting experience is welcomed)
    • Experience with shared service models
    • Experience with managing or leading a team
    • Monthly/ Quarterly/ Year End -Entire closing and internal controls
    • Experience in Subledger vs General Ledger
    • Good SOX / structure understanding for the SOX controls
    • Experience with US GAAP IFRS. Other European statutory GAAP (different than Polish) would be preferable
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP- gathering and analyzing data Great understanding of SAP Hana is welcomed
  • Managerial skills in matrix organization over complex outsources
  • Fluency in English
