The Manager of Finance will be responsible for managing end-to-end receivables overseeing collection strategies and ensuring accurate and timely recording & accounting of transactions. This role is critical to maintaining strong cash flow minimising credit risks and enhancing the order-to-cash process.
You will lead a team of accounts receivable professionals monitor the deliverables and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely closure and delivery.

What youll do
1. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Develop and implement strategies for optimising AR processes including credit policies billing procedures and cash application.
- Monitor AR ageing reports identify delinquent accounts and drive timely collections.
- Review and approve customer credit limits terms and conditions
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans where necessary.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present periodic AR performance reports highlighting key metrics (e.g. DSO bad debt provision).
- Analyse AR data to identify trends risks and opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue cash receipts and adjustments in collaboration with Finance.
3. Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess the efficiency and effectiveness of accounts receivable processes and systems recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Streamline and automate manual processes to improve productivity and reduce errors.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in accounts receivable management.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Sales Customer Service and Finance teams to resolve customer-related issues improve the order-to-cash cycle and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the Credit and Collections team to optimise credit risk management and collection strategies.
Who you are
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5 years) in accounts receivable management including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles revenue recognition and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with accounts receivable modules is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of developing and motivating a high-performing team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross- functional teams and build relationships with customers.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations compliance and industry standards (e.g. GAAP IFRS) is advantageous.
