Repair maintain and install wind machine equipment.Special Skills and Training:
Position requires 5 years of equipment maintenance experience.
Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings electrical schematics and plumbing diagrams.
Knowledge of wind machines (Propane Natural Gas and Diesel) and / or automotive equipment are essential.
Position requires the ability to quickly diagnose equipment problems and the repair of machines and equipment in a timely matter.
Perform equipment installation on multiple types of equipment and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Class A or B California drivers license is required to drive boom truck. Special certification may be required for operation of boom truck. Valid California drivers license is required.
Physical requirements:
Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequent climbing of vertical ladders bending stooping and be able to safely work at heights up to 40. Physical exam is required in order to demonstrate the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for troubleshooting repair and preventative maintenance of all manufacturers wind machines automotive equipment and other associated components performed in a timely manner. The proper use and understanding of safety equipment and procedures is critical.
Some overnight travel.
Long hours required periodically.
