Position: Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech)
Location: Syracuse NY (13210)
Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Variable MonFri
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $50/hr ($1875/week)

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Technologistfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and sterilize instruments equipment and supplies.

  • Assist surgical team during procedures and maintain sterile field.

  • Count instruments sponges and needles before and after surgery.

  • Handle specimens and support OR turnover and cleaning.

  • Monitor inventory and follow infection control and safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with surgeons nurses and OR staff.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and BLS certification.

  • Minimum 1 year recent OR experience preferred; experience in multiple surgical specialties a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques detail-oriented and team-focused.
