Job Description:

Provides leadership and operational oversight for Main OR Outpatient Surgery PACU Pre/Post and Endoscopy.

Monitors key performance metrics including case volume turnover time block utilization and on-time starts.

Drives OR efficiency initiatives to improve throughput and reduce delays.

Ensures compliance with hospital policies CMS Joint Commission and state regulatory standards.

Manages departmental staffing scheduling and resource allocation to support safe high-quality care.

Develops and manages operating and capital budgets while ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

Collaborates with surgeons anaesthesia and clinical staff to enhance communication and operational performance.

Leads quality-improvement initiatives and promotes evidence-based perioperative practice.

Recruits mentors and develops perioperative nursing staff fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Oversees ongoing staff education competency and adherence to clinical and patient safety standards.
