Our Hospice Certified Nursing Assistants enjoy some excellent benefits:
- $14.00/hr - $17/hr
- 1:1 Aide-to-client ratios (per visit)
- 8:30 am - 5:30 pm - Monday - Friday (1 week assignment)

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant heres a big-picture view of what youll do:
Provide personal care services including bathing grooming dressing oral hygiene toileting and repositioning.
Assist with mobility and transfers (bed to chair ambulation etc.) ensuring patient safety.
Measure and record vital signs (temperature pulse respiration blood pressure) as instructed.
Perform light housekeeping related to patient care such as changing linens laundry and maintaining a clean environment.
Assist patients with meals including feeding when necessary and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration.
Provide companionship emotional support and reassurance to patients and families.
Recognize and report changes in patient condition needs or concerns to the RN or case manager promptly.
Adhere to the hospice plan of care and document care provided accurately.
Respect the dignity privacy and cultural values of each patient and family.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and hospice policies and procedures.
A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistant:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate in GA
- One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role preferred
- Hospice experience preferred but not required
- CPR certification and First Aid Certification (Must be from an in-person class. We no longer accept any online certifications.)
- Valid GAdrivers license auto insurance and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
