Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team. As a Senior Network Engineer you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring network equipment monitoring performance troubleshooting issues and ensuring network security.

Essential Functions:

Design deploy and manage scalable secure and high-performing network solutions using Cisco and Arista equipment.
Set up and maintain routers switches firewalls and other network devices.
Maintain equipment inventory IP schemas and network diagrams.
Implement security protocols firewalls and access controls.
Experience implementing STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) on network equipment.
Ability to support up to 20% offsite travel.
Willing to submit to a CI Polygraph.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Active Top Secret/SCI
CompTIA Security CE Certification.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Professional certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent Arista certifications preferred.
Experience with DOD encryption devices.
Self-motivated able to switch tasks easily and work independently.
Experience with the configuration and ability to manage Solarwinds.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
