Job Description
Job Title: Container Unloader
Location: Northampton
Hours: 14:00 22:00 (Set Shift)
Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing Work
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Container Unloaders to join our team. This is an ongoing position involving manual handling and heavy lifting. You will be responsible for unloading goods from shipping containers efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload containers manually or using equipment as required
Handle heavy items safely and in line with manual handling guidelines
Sort stack and move goods to designated areas
Check and record product quantities and condition
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures
Work efficiently to meet unloading targets and deadlines
Requirements:
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Previous experience in a warehouse logistics or unloading role (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
Punctual reliable and safety-conscious
Ability to work the set shift hours (14:00 22:00)
