About the Role:
St Vincents Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is seeking a number of passionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join the Perioperative team at the Rapid Access Hub at St. Vincents on the Park. You will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing environment as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility in this role is required with opportunities to develop clinical skills across all areas of the perioperative service department at the Park.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69253.60 - $92601.60 pro rata per annum).

Current areas of skill that we are looking for in our applicants;
Scrub Scout/ Endoscopy
These positions are critical positions within SVHOP and are responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care within a specific area in Perioperative Services under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager.
Demonstrated previous scrub scout experience as a Registered Nurse in Scrub/Scout role for General Plastics EN Ortho and Urology surgery
Current or recent Endoscopy experience will be highly regardedas this role includes rotations into the endoscopy suite dependent on requirements of the day.
Anaesthetic/ PACU
You are a suitably qualified experienced and highly motivated Anaesthetic/PACU nurse who is seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to become part of the SVHM team. Under the guidance of the NUM or ANUM you will be responsible for the delivery of best practice clinical skills within the Perioperative/ peri-anaesthetic environment.
Current 12 month experience in perioperative nursing in an Anaesthetic & PACU role
Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (Perianaesthesia stream) will be viewed favourably.
Those with experience in both areas of anaesthetics and PACU will be viewed favourably as this position includes working across both areas dependent on the needs of the department on the day.

About the Rapid Access Hub
St Vincents Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) has established a Rapid Access Hub (RAH) to operate out of the St Vincents on the Park(SVHOP) campus. With 4fullyoperational theatres our target is to treat up to 6000 patients annually including receivingpatients fromthe Northeast Metro Health Service Partnership (HSP). The Rapid Access Hub at SVHOP allows SVHM to provide diagnostic and quality of life procedures.
The theatres and Day Procedure Centre at RAH SVHOP operates as following:
Operating hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 7amand 7:30pm. No Public Holidays.
A total of four operating theatres are operational including two endoscopy theatres and two surgical day case theatres.
Education and Learning support for nursing staff onsite
The facilities and staff amenities at SVHOP include large change facilities kitchen and lounge areas
