Job Summary
In your new role as our Day Porter you will support the Environmental Services team daily with a variety of tasks that support events as well as day to day operations. As a member of our housekeeping team you will always provide the highest quality of customer service while maintaining the premises in a clean and orderly manner including:
- Cleaning offices common areas washrooms halls food service areas and any other areas that may require attention
- Cleaning desks ceilings and vents walls blinds kitchenettes microwaves washrooms furniture windows floors and carpets
- Dusting mopping vacuuming sweeping polishing floors and replenishing supplies
- Emptying trash and garbage containers
- Lift and handling up to 40lbs
- Support Event Set Up as needed - tables chairs as well as tear down after events
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- One year of experience preferred in previous EVS and Porter Janitorial environments
- Preferred to have Building Service Worker certificate
- Ability to use tools and equipment and to perform the physical aspects of the job
- Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills willing to go beyond the basics
- Ability to work under supervision and follow standard procedures and compliance with all health and safety standards
- Personal and professional integrity and demeanor
- Ability to complete a Venerable Sector Criminal Background Check
