Job Summary
Payroll Officer
Our payroll team is expanding to support our continued growth which is why were looking for someone to step into this newly created role. Youll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll across our corporate restaurants Hola Central team and franchise network keeping our people supported and our systems running smoothly while ensuring compliance and accuracy at every step.
What youll do
As Payroll Officer youll process fortnightly and off-cycle payroll runs including terminations and adjustments and ensure employees are onboarded and offboarded correctly. Youll reconcile pay files resolve queries quickly and maintain accurate records. Youll also prepare payroll and superannuation reports manage STP submissions to the ATO support audits and handle workers compensation claims. Beyond the day-to-day youll manage the payroll inbox keep our process documentation up to date and provide guidance to internal teams and franchisees ensuring compliance with Awards and time & attendance system rules.
What were looking for
- 3 years payroll experience in a multi-site environment
- Strong payroll systems knowledge (Preceda Dimensions Tanda Ichris)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to interpret Awards and ensure compliance
- Clear professional communicator with a detail-focused approach
