The Job Mission
This is a hybrid role with three days a week based at our Bristol (Aztec West) office. We can only consider candidates living within a commutable distance though limited relocation support may be available.
Youll take the lead on fire detection systems within a major nuclear project ensuring supplier performance design compliance and technical integrity from design to delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve technical queries between suppliers and the client
- Support the contract lead through design and procurement stages
- Follow equipment manufacture testing and on-site delivery
- Review supplier technical documents and surveillance reports
- Manage risks opportunities and design change requests
- Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces for fire detection systems
- Validate and track modifications using dedicated tools
Qualifications :
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of fire detection and protection standards
- Experience in instrumentation equipment design or procurement
- Strong background in technical document review and supplier follow-up
- Familiarity with UK/EU electrical standards
- Experience in heavy industries such as nuclear power or oil & gas
