What Youll Do
- Lead the design and development of scalable secure and maintainable UI solutions that support internal developer workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and translate them into actionable improvements.
- Drive platform-level enhancements using technologies like microfrontends React GraphQL and AWS.
- Research and pilot emerging technologiesincluding AIto improve developer tooling and experience.
- Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards through proactive engagement and technical leadership.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive design.
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge to understand and shape requirements for internal platform improvements.
- Identify and lead solution strategies that enhance developer experience security and code quality.
- Apply best practices in frontend architecture and secure coding to deliver robust UI components.
- Collaborate with other squads to pilot new capabilities and ensure seamless integration across systems.
- Analyse and resolve bugs performance issues and usability challenges with minimal guidance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with product goals.
This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on scalable -
- English level B2 or above
- Solid experience with UI architecture
- Proven expertise in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript React and GraphQL
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS prefered)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimisation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in agile environments and contributing to product roadmaps.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote multicultural team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of micro frontend patterns
- Experience improving developer experience in platform-level engineering.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in exploring emerging technologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling initiatives.
