Responsibilities
- Leading and providing technical support in a global team environment;
- Mentoring and training other technical team members;
- Developing logical and physical architecture for IT environments;
- Incorporating automation to minimize manual efforts and errors;
- Administering and managing Windows Server infrastructure;
- Performing system integration verification and validation;
- Designing and implementing engineering solutions based on customer requirements;
- Tracking work efforts using trouble-ticketing systems;
- Providing on-call support and rotating on-call duties;
- Conducting root cause analysis of incidents and implementing permanent solutions;
- Supporting project planning scoping and estimation discussions;
- Performing occasional travel as required.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience;
- 4 years of experience in designing deploying and operating IT solutions;
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration;
- Strong documentation skills and ability to meet customer requirements;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-project environment;
- Experience with Linux Apache PostgreSQL and ZFS.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ITIL Foundations and experience with ITIL processes.
