At Thermo Fisher Scientific we are seeking an AI Engineer to join our remote People Analytics project team. This collaborative group is building innovative AI solutions that transform how our employees

In this role youll work closely with data engineers analysts and HR partners to develop an AI chatbot that translates natural language into SQL queries. Your expertise in AWS data engineering and AI development will help deliver scalable secure and impactful tools that support our global workforce.

What Youll Do

  • Build and optimize an AI chatbot (NL SQL) for people analytics.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure in AWS.
  • Apply AWS Bedrock (6 months experience preferred) to deliver generative AI solutions.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional project team to design test and deploy tools.
  • Ensure quality security and performance across all solutions.

What Were Looking For

  • 3 to 5 years in software development data engineering or related field.
  • Strong AWS expertise (S3 Lambda Glue Redshift Bedrock preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge of microservices APIs and modern frameworks.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
