About the Role:

The Distribution Operative supports the Team Leader by ensuring that the daily production plan is completed in line with Quality Cost and Delivery objectives within the EDC.

You will contribute to the execution of the daily production plan for your area. You will also collaborate with other areas and Operatives to ensure that the EDC functions efficiently and that all daily/weekly objectives are met.

How you will make an impact:

Ensure health and safety observations are carried out daily by playing an active part in maintaining a safe workplace

Problem solving techniques

Team collaborative mentality

Ensure you follow SOPs regarding work for compliance

Maintain workplace levels of housekeeping and meet company expectations

Ensure that company values are actively practised

What we look for:

Secondary level completed

Understanding of Distribution Centre operations

Experience using Microsoft Excel Word Power Point

Self-motivated

A team-based attitude

Be able to lift to 20kgs role is warehouse based so the ability to be on ones feet for extended periods is key

A flexible approach to the working environment in terms of hours and the ability to react positively to priority changes is a core requirement

We are committed to fair transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wileys good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to geographic location skills and competencies.
