Internship Opportunity: Mechanical Engineering

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering student to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced innovative environment where youll contribute to real-world projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.

Co-op start date: January 12 2026 on-site at our Rochester NY location

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFX) initiatives by documenting and driving improvements in new product designs
  • Assist in prototyping and testing of mechanical components
  • Design and fabricate components and fixtures for production and testing purposes
  • Operate and maintain 3D printers for rapid prototyping

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with CAD tools and 3D printing technologies is a plus
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location hire grade job-related knowledge skills experience and with consideration of internal equity of our current team addition to a comprehensive benefits package candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program as applicable.

For all sales roles the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
