Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Database Admin with strong expertise in Mongo DB to build and manage scalable efficient and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. Youll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights working closely with data scientists analysts and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain Oracle and MongoDB databases to support business applications.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers in Oracle.
Develop and manage data models schemas and collections in MongoDB.
Implement data migration data integration and synchronization between Oracle and MongoDB systems.
Monitor database performance availability and reliability and perform necessary tuning and optimization.
Work closely with application developers to ensure efficient database design and integration.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must have skills:
Strong proficiency in Oracle Database (SQL PL/SQL performance tuning)
Experience in MongoDB design query optimization and aggregation frameworks
Understanding of data modeling techniques (relational and document-based)
Experience with data migration between RDBMS and NoSQL systems
Familiarity with database monitoring tools (e.g. OEM MongoDB Compass Ops Manager)
Knowledge of backup and recovery mechanisms
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting
Exposure to ETL tools or data pipelines is an advantage
Knowledge of Agile development practices
Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders effectively.
