About the job:
Kent is looking for a Safety Engineer who will be responsible for the production of process safety engineering deliverables. Typically works as a Process Safety engineer reporting to the lead engineer on a feasibility concept FEED detailed design or EPC project. Undertakes specified tasks / areas of work dependent on size and complexity of the project as defined by the lead engineer or project / project engineering manager. Responsible for communicating technical / project issues potentially impacting the project to the lead engineer.
The Safety Engineer is typically accountable to the Principal Engineer or Project Engineer discipline Lead Engineer and/or Project Manager depending on the size and complexity of the Project. The corporate reporting line is to the respective Departmental / Group Manager. We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days home working for our team to develop an effective team dynamic within Engineering.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employees skills capabilities and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employees current workload and with respect to their professional development.
