Established in 2004 at our Mandurah campus and expanded to Perth in 2016 the School of Nursing is part of the College of Health and Education and supports over 1500 students across both locations. Our flagship Bachelor of Nursing program is complemented by growing postgraduate offerings in Health Care Management Gerontological Healthcare Research Training and a joint MBA.

Your New Role!

A Senior Lecturer (Level C) is expected to carry out activities to develop scholarly research and professional expertise relevant to the profession or discipline. This position contributes to the teaching effort of the Discipline through the preparation and delivery of lectures tutorials other types of teaching activities and supervision of honours and postgraduate students and is expected to perform a range of administrative and service functions within the College and across the University.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Prepare and deliver lectures tutorials and workshops; assess student work; supervise research and coursework candidates
  • Conduct and publish research; apply for external funding; contribute to curriculum development and teaching quality
  • Participate in university and professional activities; engage with the College and School

This Continuous Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $135609.00 $156097.00(pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA and PhD in a relevant nursing field
  • Proven success in nursing education curriculum development and evidence-based pedagogy
  • Strong publication record; experience securing research grants and building academic profile
  • Effective team member with strong interpersonal skills; experience in academic administration and course coordination
  • Willingness to travel teach across campuses and work outside standard hours
