Position Summary
ABM Industries is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Construction Coordinator II to support construction coordination efforts at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This junior-mid level role assists in managing construction scopes coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with Samsungs standards and ABMs operational protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating general construction activities across trades and subcontractors.
- Support project scheduling milestone tracking and resource planning.
- Monitor site logistics safety procedures and access control measures.
- Review construction documents RFIs and submittals under supervision.
- Help resolve field-level issues and communicate concerns to senior coordinators.
- Participate in commissioning support punch list tracking and system turnover.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field.
- 35 years of experience in general construction coordination preferably in industrial or high-tech environments.
- Basic understanding of construction systems cleanroom protocols and project workflows.
- Familiarity with MS Project Bluebeam Procore or similar project management tools.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
