Basic Function: | To coordinate and assist in the planning and management of a designated educational or student service program. Reports to designated supervisor. |

Examples of Duties: | Duties/essential functions may include but not be limited to the following: Coordinate designated educational or student service program(s); ensure policies and guidelines are followed. May provide direct supervision of unclassified employees and/or direct supervision of support staff on an ongoing basis. Perform related duties as assigned. Incumbents assigned to Certificate Programs may also be required to: Teach advise and supervise students in clinical settings. |
Additional Examples of Duties if applicable: | JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES: The Stark Rising Scholars is a mentorship and post-secondary success program for 9-12th graders in Stark County with the potential to be the first-generation to attend college in their families. The Program Coordinator is responsible for each of our 84 scholars in the program from our five school districts and encourages collaboration with potential partner addition the Program Coordinator cultivates and maintains positive relationships with existing and prospective local donors recognizing that the program is primarily funded through the generous support of community contributions. |
Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelors degree in a relevant field and two years of related experience. License/Certification: Knowledge Of: Personal computer applications Skill In: Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability To: Manage people and projects |
Preferred Qualifications if applicable: | Masters degree preferred. |
