At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) we are building the core cloud services that power modern enterprise applications. The AI Data and Dev Platform Strategy team focuses on building and scaling systems that enable Large Language Models (LLMs) and agent-based AI applications to run reliably and efficiently in production environments.

We collaborate closely with product infrastructure and research teams to develop Oracles next-generation AI systems. Role Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) you will be responsible for developing and maintaining key components of our LLM-serving and agentic AI-based SaaS application. You will collaborate with fellow senior engineers to implement scalable services automate deployment processes and ensure operational excellence in production environments. This hands-on role is ideal for engineers seeking to deepen their expertise in distributed systems and AI infrastructure engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

- 3 years of software development experience in backend or cloud environments.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python Go Java C or React Svelte for frontend.

- Familiarity with REST APIs micro services and cloud-native architectures.

- Experience with CI/CD workflows and container-based deployments (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

- MS in Computer Science or related field.

- Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or LLM serving technologies.

- Interest in distributed systems observability and scalability challenges.

- Willingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute to high-impact projects.

-Experience in LangChain and/or LangGraph is a plus

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of scalable SaaS application features that deliver business value to customers in the Generative AI domain.
Implement user-facing features and backend services that interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI capabilities using modern frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
Collaborate with product design teams to ensure delivery of high-quality intuitive and reliable AI-driven application experiences.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving application issues enhancing performance and ensuring application availability and security particularly in the context of AI model integration.
Write maintainable well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews documentation and architectural discussions related to Generative AI workflows and system design.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79200 to $178100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
