Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road Plano TX 75093
Work hours: Part-time Days (7A-7P) Two 12-hour day shifts per week for 24 hours per week Weekend and holiday requirements

The professional Unit Secretary exhibits understanding of basic human needs
Fast-paced environment that requires coordinating and performing the front desk duties which includes but are not limited to admitting newborn babies into the Care Connect system cleaning infant beds equipment stocking laundering specialty linen and requires standing and/or sitting for long periods of time during the shift.
Heres What You Need
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required
1-2 years of Unit Secretary experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
Epic experience preferred
Knowledge of general office equipment PCs and associated software packages preferred.
General knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment positive interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills.

Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians staff patient and other customers
Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills
Communicates effectively
