The ICU Registered Nurse delivers high-acuity critical care to patients requiring complex monitoring advanced hemodynamic support and ventilatory management. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience with demonstrated competency in cardiac neuro respiratory and multisystem organ failure management. Epic charting experience is preferred. The nurse may be required to float to like units and must be comfortable working in fast-paced ICU settings with 1:2 ratios.

• Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults with a standard ICU ratio of 1:2.

• Manage invasive lines central lines arterial lines PICC lines and perform IV initiation and maintenance.

• Administer and titrate vasoactive cardiac and sedation drips according to physician orders.

• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring dysrhythmia interpretation and emergency response interventions.

• Care for ventilated patients including BiPAP CPAP HFNC suctioning airway management and ABG interpretation.

• Manage patients with acute stroke traumatic brain injury spinal cord injury and post-neurosurgical status.

• Provide renal care support for acute/chronic renal failure including monitoring and fluid management.

• Assist with chest tube management wound care wound vacs and post-surgical recovery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float to like ICU units as needed.

• Maintain accurate charting and clinical documentation within Epic (preferred).

• Ensure adherence to infection control isolation precautions and safety protocols.

• 3 years of recent ICU RN experience required.

• Patient ratio experience: 1:2 ICU.

• Epic experience preferred.

• Must be willing to float between similar ICU units.

• First-time travelers accepted.

• No on-call required.

• Pending RN license not accepted.

• All RTO must be submitted at time of profile; approval depends on facility needs.

• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

• No travel experience required.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN ADN BSN).

• Additional critical care training preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience in acute-care hospital settings.

• Strong competency in:

  • Ventilator & airway management

  • Vasoactive/cardiac drip titration

  • Post-cardiac and post-neurosurgical care

  • BiPAP CPAP HFNC

  • Multisystem organ failure

  • Neurological ICU Surgical ICU (preferred)

• Experience with Epic charting preferred.

• Active RN License Required (State license must be active; no pending)

• BLS Required

• ACLS Required
