Skills: 4 Years of experience working on Balance Sheet Reconciliation (BSR) Statutory Financial Statements & Notes; SOX Testing
Role Description:
The GBS-R2R senior consultant manages day to day operations across Balance Sheet Reconciliation (BSR) Statutory Financial Statements & Notes; SOX Testing; Indirect Tax and Asset Management ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery of all the process. Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Closely monitor the end-to-end R2R process.
2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker
3. Preparation of financial statements notes as per relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP/Ind-AS).
4. Closely monitor internal controls SOX compliance and audit supports.
5. Preparation of VAT/GST workings for various group entities before the due dates
6. Understand the existing VAT process for the respective group entities and highlight the areas for improvement and efficiency.
7. Ability to prepare asset creation requests by applying statutory & internal laws and policies respectively. This includes computation of Depreciation sale/disposal of assets asset retirement obligations.
8. Detailed review and approval of Intangible Assets validation Test controls KPI reporting Adhoc analysis.
9. Understanding the key asset management processes and updating the stake holders for latest amendments/changes in the relevant applicable laws/standards.
10. Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement automation and standardization across all R2R processes.
11. Co-ordinate with cross functional teams P2P O2C Corp Finance Group Tax APG and Controllership teams to ensure end-to-end integrity.
12. Ensure compliance with Global policies and local statutory and regulatory requirements.
13. In order to support multiple Geographies should be willing to work in Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time

Qualifications / Education/ Experience
. Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) or equivalent accounting degree.
. Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in R2R/GL/financial reporting preferably in GBS Shared Services or MNC
. Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle People Soft) Accounting systems and Reporting tools.
. Proven experience in Managing multiple teams and driving process improvements.
. Excellent communication stakeholder management and analytical skills.
. Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines
. Ability to work under pressure
. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
