A bit about your role
The Region Safety and Quality Lead role is responsible for embedding operationalising and delivering nbns Safety and Quality framework objectives and outcomes into nbns operational Field regions and is directly accountable to the Field Region General Manager.
In this role youll lead the implementation of nbns Quality Management and Safety frameworks within the region working closely with Field Services staff to foster a culture of safety wellbeing and continuous improvement. Youll support the application of the Field Services Safety & Wellbeing (HS&E) Framework helping to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant policies procedures codes of practice and safe work methods.
Youll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of nbns Operations Quality and Safety Frameworks ensuring they remain fit for purpose in a dynamic field environment. A key part of your responsibility will be overseeing governance and compliance across the region ensuring consistent and effective execution of safety quality and wellbeing standards.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives on collaboration influence and making a tangible difference in the safety and quality of field operations.
A bit about you
To be successful in this position you will bring experience in Safety and Wellbeing roles. You are able to demonstrate excellent organisational interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a proven track record demonstrating and leading a Safety & Wellbeing mindset in a matrix organisation.
A strong understanding of WHS legislation including Safe Worth Method Statements Risk Management and Contract Management is also essential to the role.
Youre confident in identifying and executing improvement opportunities at a regional level and you bring structure and clarity by developing and maintaining risk action issue and decision registers that support effective governance and delivery.
