SEN Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs.
Monitor and assess progress maintaining accurate records and reports for each child.
Collaborate with classroom teachers support staff and external agencies to develop personalised learning plans.
Provide guidance and support to staff on inclusive teaching strategies.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and support strategies.
Promote a positive inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
SEN Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching pupils with SEND in a primary school setting.
Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks interventions and assessment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about inclusion and committed to supporting every childs development.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
