Data Testing Specialist

Join a major insurance migration project focused on transitioning individual life insurance policies to a new platform. As a Data Testing Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy quality and compliance throughout all migration phases. Youll collaborate closely with business owners actuaries and IT experts to validate results and guarantee a seamless migration.

Key Responsibilities

Data Testing

* Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for validating data accuracy.

* Execute manual and automated data testing procedures with detailed documentation.

* Design and implement automated programs and queries to streamline validation.

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm test results align with business logic.

* Manage test data across mainframe environments and different testing phases.

Transversal Testing & Quality Assurance

* Review and challenge data testing activities from other migration phases.

* Support root cause analysis for identified data defects.

* Ensure test consistency traceability and completeness across all streams.

Test Coordination

* Provide regular progress updates on test execution and results.

* Prioritize and manage defects to ensure timely resolution.

* Generate on-demand data extracts or reports for the migrated life insurance portfolio.

Your Profile

Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector ideally involving data migration projects.
Proven track record in data analysis and data testing with hands-on experience in SQL or similar query languages.
Deep understanding of individual life insurance products and processes.
Strong analytical structured and detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining proactive communication.
University degree in data mathematics economics or a related field.
Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
