Telehealth Consultant (Sales)
Location: Remote South Africa (supporting UK-based client)
Compensation: USD $1500 per month

As part of their continued growth they are expanding their telehealth and patient coordination team by hiring skilled professionals in South Africa to help manage consultations patient engagement and lead conversion for UK-based clients.
Role Overview
As a Telehealth Consultant (Sales) youll serve as the first point of contact for patients exploring dental treatments. This role blends empathy active listening and consultative sales helping patients identify the best treatment options scheduling appointments managing follow-ups and ensuring a seamless virtual experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management
- Manage and nurture patient leads within the CRM.
- Reach out to new inquiries assess needs and schedule consultations.
- Advise on suitable treatment options based on patient goals.
Consultative Sales
- Engage with potential patients to understand their concerns and desired outcomes.
- Ask thoughtful open-ended questions to uncover true needs.
- Recommend appropriate dental solutions (implants dentures cosmetic treatments).
Scheduling & Call Handling
- Handle both inbound and outbound patient calls.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for exams and treatments.
- Maintain daily call logs and lead activity updates.
Payments & Follow-ups
- Process deposits and payments as required.
- Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and gauge satisfaction.
- Document all interactions accurately in the CRM.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the UK operations and virtual call agent teams.
- Provide regular progress reports and conversion updates.
- Contribute to a collaborative patient-centered team culture.
Key Requirements
Experience
- Prior experience in telesales telehealth or medical/dental sales strongly preferred.
- Proven background in consultative or service-based sales.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot Salesforce) required.
Skills
- Excellent English communication (neutral accent).
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline.
- Confident empathetic and persuasive phone presence.
Other Requirements
- Based in South Africa with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
- Comfortable working UK business hours (including one weekend day).
- Professional handling of confidential patient and payment information.

- Fluent English with clear neutral accent (suitable for UK patients)
- Working hours can be 40 hours spread across the clinics operating times:
- Weekdays: 8:30am-8:00pm
- Weekends: 10:00am-18:00pm
- Prior experience of remote work on telephones (Comfortable using CRM systems VoIP/soft-phone tools and call-tracking software)
- Sales and customer service background

- Adequate vetting to ensure their CV experience matches with their real life experience
- Strong work-from-home setup (quiet workspace minimal background noise)
- Stable power supply or proven backup solution (UPS/inverter) to ensure reliability during working hours
Live verification during screening:
- Adequate hardware spec which should be tested impromptu on call
- Processor: Intel i5 (8th gen or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5 equivalent
- RAM: Minimum 8 GB RAM
- Storage: SSD drive (not HDD) with at least 100 GB free space
- Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 or macOS equivalent
- Working webcam and noise-cancelling headset (mandatory)
- Dual-monitor setup preferred
- Up-to-date antivirus software and basic cybersecurity measures
- Adequate internet speeds which be tested on call
