First-timers accepted: Y Weekend REQ: None Is on-call REQ No Certs required: ACLS BLS Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs Yes within service line and scope Floating Req to Sister Facilities: N Open to accommodating block schedule N Locals accepted: No 75-mile radius Pending State License accepted: Y RTO Restrictions: 7 days within 13-week contract Description: Pre/Post RNs prep patients for procedures and recover them post procedure. Pre/post RNs perform loop recorder implant TEEs and cardioversion procedures. Pre/post EP includes performing loop recorder implant TEEs and cardioversion (8-10 of these procedures are done daily). The RNs prep patients and educate pre procedure. They assist in the procedure (i.e. documenting bubble study for TEE) 95% of these cases have anesthesia support but we do perform some TEEs with procedural sedation. This skill is helpful but not a must. Post procedure they recover these patients and either discharge to home or transport inpatients back to their room.
