Pay Rate: $40 - $45; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available:
- 12-hour: 06:45 PM 07:15 AM
- 8-hour: 09:00 AM 05:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our healthcare team in Louisville KY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced intensive care unit. You will work closely with physicians other nurses and healthcare staff to ensure optimal outcomes for critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients respond to changes in condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by the medical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Accurately document patient assessments treatments and progress.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain ICU equipment and ensure a safe clean working environment.
- Follow all infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Active and Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of 1 year ICU or critical care experience .
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
