Our client is a contemporary eCommerce brand blending creativity design and streetwear culture. As they gear up for an exciting Q4 marketing season they are looking for a Web Store Designer to help elevate their Shopify store and execute seasonal campaigns.
This role is perfect for a designer who enjoys optimizing user experience enhancing store performance and collaborating on creative marketing projects in a fast-paced environment.
The Web Store Designer will design maintain and optimize a Shopify-based online store. You will ensure a seamless customer experience visually aligned with the brand optimized for conversions and ready for major end-of-year campaigns including Thanksgiving Black Friday Christmas and New Year promotions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a high-quality Shopify web store for Black Mrkt merchandise.
Optimize site performance for SEO speed and security.
Ensure smooth purchase workflows and user-friendly navigation.
Update website content and visuals in coordination with marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams on seasonal sales initiatives.
Maintain clear communication and meet deadlines for updates.
Requirements
Strong portfolio of previous web design work (required).
Proven experience with:
Shopify development and customization
SEO optimization and website performance tuning
Building and maintaining eCommerce stores
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet campaign deadlines.
Creative mindset with attention to detail in design and UX.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing an online store with $5000 monthly revenue.
Familiarity with seasonal ad campaigns and marketing-driven website updates.
Background in brand building marketing or graphic design.
Experience implementing upsell or cross-sell strategies to increase average order value (AOV).
Understanding of eCommerce analytics and performance tracking.
Scope of Work
Create a visually appealing and high-performing Shopify store aligned with the Black Mrkt brand.
Maintain and update the website according to campaign schedules and team requests.
Ensure the website reflects active promotions and seasonal sales events.
Prepare the site for Q4 campaigns ensuring readiness before launch dates.
