Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients ensuring the highest level of patient care and diagnostic accuracy. You will be involved in a variety of radiology projects contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in radiology while making a positive impact on patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays MRIs CT scans and ultrasounds.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient treatment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of radiology findings.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality assurance standards in radiology procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technologies in the field of radiology.
  • Provide guidance and support to medical staff and patients regarding radiology procedures.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Radiology.
  • Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Proven experience working as a Radiologist in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting a variety of radiology tests.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic reporting.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Onsite or remote

Call: No after-hour call shifts

Clinical Details: General ED reads & light IR

EMR/PACS: Epic/Spectra

Location: 1.5 hours from Asheville Winston-Salem & Charlotte

Travel: Paid travel expenses included
