Join the WEAVE AOD Services team in South East Melbourne supporting people experiencing co-occurring alcohol and other drug (AOD) mental health and psychosocial challenges. At Each youll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to person-centred trauma-informed care.
Your role your impact
As an Integrated AOD Counsellor you will:
- Deliver therapeutic counselling interventions to clients with complex needs including AOD and mental health challenges.
- Provide outreach support to engage vulnerable and hard-to-reach clients helping them achieve treatment stability.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments develop care plans and facilitate referrals to ensure coordinated high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation using Eachs client management systems.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a positive and respectful environment.
- Participate in supervision team meetings and reflective practice to support your ongoing development.
Who were looking for
- Experience working with people with alcohol and other drug use and/or mental health concerns.
- Experience supporting clients with co-occurring challenges such as trauma family violence homelessness or physical health issues.
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling Psychology Social Work Occupational Therapy Mental Health or a related discipline.
- Current drivers license.
