Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
As an Inbound Sales Trainee with the Grab Merchant Centre (GMC) you will be part of a team that establishes business relationships with Merchants on Grab. Your role as anInbound Sales Trainee will require you to handle inbound channels applications and oversee Merchants entire onboarding process and support their brand activation on Grabs platform.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Your daily activities include:
- Follow up on leads to complete Merchants onboarding application through the physical onboarding counter at GMC or other inbound channels including email D365 calls
- Ensure assigned onboarding leads are completed and activated within Service level agreement
- Handle Merchant queries regarding onboarding process their applications status and follow ups for successful activation through call and emails
- Support the team in other ad-hoc responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minimum qualification: Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic or an equivalent/higher academic qualification.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Bahasa Melayu or Tamil
- Strong prioritisation and time-management skills; manages competing priorities across stakeholders while maintaining high accuracy in documentation and execution.
- You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity improve workflows and contribute new ideas.
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during the traineeship:
- Communication: Develop clear written and verbal communication tailored to business contexts. Learn to handle merchant queries.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage multiple onboarding cases within set Service Level Agreements.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address onboarding issues and support successful merchant activation.
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams and support general operations at GMC.
