Job Summary: Reporting to a Research Manager Senior Research Manager or an Associate Research Director a Panel Leader is responsible for the execution of sensory testing.
Responsibilities:
1. Panel Work
a. Supervise and lead our sensory panels
b. Recruit train manage and motivate sensory panellists
c. Preparation of tests (organisation of sessions & samples preparation of test questionnaires)
d. Conduct sessions (descriptive profiling temporal assessment and discrimination testing)
e. Assist with statistical analysis and data visualisation
f. Support with writing reports for the client
g. Follow-up and control of panelists performance
h. Participation in the quality assurance process
2. People:
a. Close collaboration with the field team
b. Work closely with other members of our sensory and research team and the Data Solutions Hub
3. Strategy:
Ensuring that ongoing activities and projects adhere to the companys strategic guidelines
Qualifications :
- University degree ideally in food science social sciences psychology statistics or economics
- Experience in project management and/or running a sensory panel would be desirable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German. English is a strong plus
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word Excel PowerPoint etc
- Rigorous responsive and proactive
- Strong organisational and planning skills that ensure work is effectively prioritised to meet deadlines
