Credit Control Administrator
Location: Carlisle
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary: 27000 p/a
Due to the growth of the business NXT Recruitment is recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a busy and supportive finance department based in Carlisle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with credit control or finance administration experience to take ownership of their own ledger manage customer accounts and help maintain healthy cash flow across the business.The successful candidate will be proactive organised and confident in building relationships with both internal teams and external customers. You will be responsible for resolving queries efficiently maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider finance team to meet departmental targets.Key responsibilities:- Manage your own ledger of customers making proactive contact to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Handle the full credit control process from account opening through to payment allocation and debt recovery
- Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally maintaining a high level of service
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and account information
- Prepare reports and maintain up-to-date records of credit activity
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative duties as required
- Prioritise workload effectively to meet personal and team targets
About you:- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident using IT systems with good working knowledge of Excel Word and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Patient professional and customer-focused approach
- Practical problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Team player who can also work independently when required
