We are seeking a highly motivated member to join our Powertrain Team keen to contribute and thrive in a dynamic R&D this role you will help develop improve and test all aspects of what makes our hybrid-electric aircraft fly. A hands-on approach and the ability to grasp new concepts quickly is essential.
Your main focus lies in running tests on the full powertrain stack interpreting test results and suggesting improvements. You will develop a holistic understanding of the various power systems involved and will support system integration flight test campaigns.
As a part of the team you will work at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and will directly contribute to the advancement of automated hybrid-electric flight.
Tasks
- Conceptual design work of the overall hybrid electric architecture
- Integration & testing of subsystems with a focus on power electronics
- Development maintenance & improvement of test rigs
- Test interpretation and documentation
- Assist in technical communication with our subcontractors
Requirements
Required:
- Degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or similar field
- Hands-on experience with power electronics & drivetrains
- Experience with electrical equipment integration
- Experience in control systems & electrical simulations
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a target-oriented driven work style
- Good communication skills proficiency in English
Advantageous:
- Experience with high-power applications up to 10kW
- Professional background in the automotive or aerospace sector
