This is a M-F 8am - 5pm remote with at least one on-site day per month at the KDG office located in Allentown PA.

KDG is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst and Accountant with deep expertise in technology-driven business solutions and ERP systems. As a professional services firm focused on digital transformation much of our client work involves designing implementing and optimizing integrated ERP and business management platforms that connect financial operational and CRM processes. A strong understanding of business workflows and data architectureparticularly as they relate to accounting and inventory functionsis essential for success in this role.

As a Senior Business Analyst and Accountant at KDG you will join our client services team to help lead and execute projects by completing the following:

Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution ensuring our clients achieve operational efficiency compliance and strategic growth through innovative software solutions.

Define business needs with ERP system functionality by gathering requirements mapping processes analyzing system data and facilitating communication between users and technical teams.

Partner with clients stakeholders and technical teams to gather document and validate business and functional requirements for accounting-related software solutions.

Analyze existing workflows systems and processes within accounting and financial operations to identify areas for automation efficiency gains and digital transformation.

Act as a subject matter expert in accounting practices providing insights into compliance requirements reporting standards and financial process optimization.

Collaborate closely with project managers developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood feasible and testable.

Facilitate workshops requirements sessions and stakeholder meetings ensuring alignment and clear communication across all parties.

Requirements

To be considered candidates must meet the following criteria:

7 years experience in Accounting required
Deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Desktop and (preferably) Zoho Books and Sage
Advanced Excel user
Exceptional problem solving organizational and prioritization skills required
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lead projects and see them through to their completion with detailed communication along the way
Experience in software development project management or planning preferred
Experience in manufacturing inventory and ERP systems a plus

Required Skills:

As a Senior Accountant at KDG you will join our client services team to help lead and execute projects including: Accounting software conversions and implementations - Projects can include: Reviewing current books and making recommendations for cleanup and facilitating those recommendations Performing the accounting software conversion/implementation process Supporting the go live process once the data has been converted Providing assistance and/or training during the initial stage of the client using the new software. Facilitating possible transition based on client additional needs. Accounting and tax advisory Projects can include: Prepare and examine accounting records tax records sales tax and other tax collections payments and processes and other financial reporting. Ability to analyze financial reports for business operations and budgeting/forecasting purposes. Perform tax and non-tax reviews tax filings and ensuring adherence to standard requirements Perform basic bookkeeping and GL maintenance The right candidate for this role would be an outgoing and passionate customer service advocate with a strong attention to detail. Candidates should be well versed in and efficiently using modern technology. This role is perfect for a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills who has experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. There will be no tax preparation at all as part of this role. Qualifications To be considered candidates must meet the following criteria: CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) required 7 years experience in Accounting required Deep knowledge of QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Desktop and (preferably) Zoho Books and Sage Advanced Excel user Exceptional problem solving organizational and prioritization skills required Strong attention to detail Ability to lead projects and see them through to their completion with detailed communication along the way Experience in software development project management or planning preferred Experience in manufacturing inventory and ERP systems a plus While this position is fully remote we encourage in-person collaboration when possible.
