Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts including cash bank and accounts payable.
Prepare journal entries financial statements and supporting schedules.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Analyze financial data and report variances to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Requirements
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP Oracle or QuickBooks.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
25 years of accounting experience preferably with exposure to cash bank and accounts payable functions.
CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus.
