Full time (Mon-Fri/40 hour )
Role & Responsibilities:-
- Lead a Team of AIX Administrators and provide production support
- Handle escalated and critical incidents.
- Plan and schedule Changes coordinating with different stakeholders.
- Work on Service Requests.
- Perform RCA for Major Incidents.
- Follow defined quality and security compliance.
- Perform Trend analysis identify top call drivers and work with respective Teams to minimize incident count.
- Hardware troubleshooting and Vendor coordination.
- Work on the service improvement programs.
- Work with project Teams for activities such as new server build OS upgrades migrations etc.
- Automation of tasks using Shell scripting.
Requirements:-
- Good experience in AIX infrastructure and Knowledge on Linux (RHEL 78.9; Suse 12.x).
- Good experience in AIX Product engineering.
- Proficient in AIX and Linux design and Implementation.
- Experience in LVM User Management and troubleshooting.
- NIM Server Installation Configuration and Administration.
- VIOs Server Installation Configuration and Administration.
- HMC firmware upgrade.
- HACMP Cluster Installation and configuration.
- Firmware installation upgradation and maintenance
- DR planning and coordination.
- Trend Analysis and Capacity planning for AIX infrastructure.
- Good understanding of ITIL.
- Good documentation and presentation skills
