The Flexisaf Internship Program is open to dynamic creative and energetic people seeking to gain tech skills in Web Design. You will learn based on a self-study approach carry out tasks and complete projects in line with a well-structured and curated Internship Program Curriculum and resources which we provide to you at no cost. Your progress will be monitored and supervised throughout the cohort to ensure that you remain on track and accountable. During the program you will learn alongside innovative and inspiring leaders through mentorship and gain valuable experience working on projects that proffer solutions to real-life problems while also acquiring some work-ready soft-skills along the way.
NOTE: This is not a PAID opportunity therefore payment as stipends to cover data allowance and other needs are not available for participants at this time. Every participant is expected to have a working laptop and access to data to allow FULL participation including progress tracking at different times throughout the cohort.
Requirements
While the opening information lists the skills below as requirements you are not expected to be proficient in them from the start as you will be learning and developing these skills along the way. Enthusiasm a willingness to learn and creativity are what matter most!
- Familiarity with Design Tools: Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Studio (e.g. XD Illustrator Photoshop) which will be used in creating graphic designs such as logos flyers wireframes mockups and high-fidelity designs during the training.
- Design Fundamentals: A basic understanding of foundational design principles such as color theory layout typography and usability.
- Ability to conduct research and apply findings to design improvements.
- Adaptable to learning and using new tools technologies such as Content Management Systems Template style Website Design applications e.t.c and design methodologies.
- Basic Web development Skills such as HTML and CSS are an advantage.
