Job Summary

Supports the E-Commerce Merchandiser in the execution of product merchandising across all digital platforms by assisting with the accurate setup maintenance and optimization of products. Reporting to the E-commerce Merchandiser this role ensures new product launches are implemented smoothly and on time product information is consistently updated and all content aligns with the marketing calendar and promotional plans. With a strong focus on administrative accuracy the role contributes to improving the online experience and having well-maintained product data.


Data Management

Manage and maintain all product information and data ensuring it is complete accurate and up to date based on business needs

Content Validation

Validating all content prior to launch ensuring we provide a superior customer experience

On-Time Product Launch

Ensure products are launched correctly and on time; with appropriate information as directed by the E-Commerce Merchandiser

Image Cataloguing Management

Manage and update website image cataloguing and information

Process Execution

Carry out all "back-end" system processes for setting up product to go live within the online environments

Quality Assurance

Carry out quality checks for online products including images categorization prices and availability to optimize customer experience on all e-commerce platforms as directed by the E-Commerce Merchandiser

Support Marketing and Promotional Planning

Collaborate with the E-commerce Merchandiser to align product and banner updates with the monthly marketing calendar and campaign schedules.





Requirements

2 years in e-commerce merchandising product admin or related support role

Excellent business English both verbal and written

Established proficiency in MS Office and digital literacy

Proficiency in Content Management Systems

Experience uploading and maintaining product data and assets (images descriptions pricing)

Exposure to marketing calendars or promotional planning cycles

Ability to interpret briefs and update online content accordingly

Understanding of user experience (UX) as it relates to product layout and site navigation

Experience working with cross-functional teams) to ensure content accuracy and timing

National Diploma or Degree in E-commerce or Retail Management

National Diploma in Digital Media and Marketing (advantageous)




Required Skills:

- Diploma or Certificate in Software Testing Graphic Design Computer Science or related field. - ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification (advantageous). - Coding in JavaScript or NodeJS (advantageous) - Training or exposure in Pitstop Pro Enfocus Switch or CorelDRAW beneficial but not required (on-the-job learning provided). - Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign) advantageous Exposure to PDF Toolbox
