The Opportunity

Were looking for someone to ignite change! As our Senior Manager Diversity and Inclusion youll take our newly developed framework and turn it into bold visible action. Youll set the rhythm for how inclusion becomes part of everyday life at Berry Street Yoorallafrom the way we design and deliver services to how we collaborate and care for each other. Building on our Rainbow Tick accreditation youll help us go further challenging whats possible and creating spaces where every person feels seen respected and empowered.

What youll be doing

  • Lead projects that weave inclusion into every corner of the organisation
  • Partner with staff leaders and communities to spark change that lasts
  • Strengthen cultural safety disability access and LGBTIQA inclusion
  • Track progress and show impact keeping us accountable and transparent

What youll bring

Youre a strategic thinker and inclusive leader with a deep understanding of how to drive cultural change across complex organisations. You will bring strong project management skills and have experience of embedding diversity equity and inclusion into systems policies and everyday practice.

You will have experience working with LGBTIQA communities people with disabilities and multicultural/multifaith groups and you understand the importance of cultural safety and intersectionality.

Being able to collaborate and communicate across teams leadership and community stakeholders is something you enjoy and hold great value in.

Creating safer more welcoming environments for all is at the heart of your work.
