Job Summary
Job Title: CNC 5-Axis Programmer
Location: Englewood CO
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $30 $45 per hour (DOE)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC 5-Axis Programmer to join our growing manufacturing this role you will program optimize and troubleshoot CNC programs for 3-axis 4-axis and 5-axis machines producing high-precision parts with tight tolerances. Youll collaborate closely with machinists engineers and quality teams to ensure efficient production and outstanding results.
Responsibilities:
Create optimize and troubleshoot CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam Esprit SolidWorks etc.)
Generate efficient toolpaths to meet quality and tolerance requirements
Select set up and manage tooling for different jobs
Collaborate with machinists engineers and quality inspectors to resolve production challenges
Document CNC programs tooling instructions and revisions accurately
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining processes
Train and mentor machinists on program interpretation and setups
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Technology Engineering or related field (preferred)
5 years of CNC programming experience
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and G-code/M-code
Experience programming complex multi-axis machines especially 5-axis mills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset
