ARC Service Specialist Oracle Expense

We are currently hiring an ARC Service Specialist - Oracle Expense in the Hub Financial Center (HFC) the centralized accounting team for HUB International. The position reports directly to the Accounting Resource Supervisor and performs as part of a team that functions as an accounting resource for the client service and accounting teams.

About The ARC

The Accounting Resource Center (ARC) is the Accounting Help Desk for the HFC. The Oracle Expense team is part of the ARC. The ARCs customers include the regional servicing teams regional leaders and the regional finance teams. Although we are part of Accounting the ARC team does not perform any Accounting functions.

About You

• Do you love to help train and support your teammates
• Are you the go-to in the office for the How do I questions And do you always have the answers
• Are you good at problem solving and enjoy researching issues to find the answer

Duties may include some or all of the functions shown below

• Respond to emails and calls from Operations requesting assistance with Oracle expense related questions or issues.
• Research what went wrong including cell phone app related issues.
• Provide training for new staff and acquisitions on Oracle Expense reporting.
• Provide training as needed on how to enter an expense report including set up and bank information.
• Follow up to make sure end result is obtained
• Work with the Accounting units or Oracle team to ensure that requests are completed and must have the ability to assist with special projects regarding Oracle expenses as needed.
• Duties as otherwise assigned

Essential Traits and Experience

• High School Diploma Required
• Strong Technology Skills
• Oracle Expense report experience highly desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and enjoys working with people
• Understand that teaching someone how to find the answers is more important than just providing the answer
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Good eye for detail
• Be able to work independently and provide results
• Ability to work well with a remote team

Other:

• This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from any of our office locations across the U.S. and Canada.
• We welcome candidates from anywhere in the U.S. or Canada but the role requires the selected team member to be available until 5:00 PM Pacific Time Monday through Friday.

The expected salary range for this position is $21.00 to $28.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience andworking location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
