Job opportunity

The Legislative Service Commission currently has an opening on its IT staff for an in-office Help Desk technician. The Help Desk technician will be the first point of contact for technical issues across the agency. Duties include:

  • Respond to user inquiries via phone email or MS Teams;

  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware software and network issues including:

    • Windows MS Office printers phones connectivity etc.;

  • Set up equipment for meetings/events;

  • Assist with posting documents to the LSC website.

Minimum qualifications

  • 2-year IT-related degree or equivalent certification;
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating system;
  • Familiarty with Microsoft Office;
  • Strong communication and customer service skills;
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Strong attendance record.

Salary and benefits

The current starting salary is $23.25 per hour or $48360 per year. We offer our staff merit-based salary increases opportunities to learn and grow in their careers and a comprehensive state benefit package including:

Ohio Public Employees Retirement System
