Job Description
Hybrid: Reporting to a specific location where work needs to be performed / collaboration should happen (regardless this location is within a hub) and without regard to where a candidate lives (some employees may end up hybrid who live more than 50 miles away but where business needs dictate them to be onsite at a specific location three days per week).
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren GM Global Technical Center three times per week at minimum.

The Advanced UX Design Manager at GM Design Studios is tasked with leading a team of dedicated designers working to create the next-generation user experience for vehicles. This role involves close collaboration with Vehicle Designers Software Developers Program Teams and Component Designers to ensure the seamless integration of technologies and specific interaction patterns within the vehicle.
The designers ultimate goal is to provide a considered wholistic vehicle experience working across the hardware and software environments. A good candidate has knowledge of human centric design sensibility to aesthetics form and brand. This person has the ability to solve user needs and desires over a wide range of customers. This role requires the ability to lead a team working on complex interactions while maintaining a harmonious combination of creative skills and technical know-how. This person will be the driving force behind exploring human interface design principles and problem solving to facilitate aesthetically beautiful product interiors.
