Job Summary
As a Tooling Technician you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of all moulds dies and related tooling used in production. Youll be responsible for maintaining repairing and improving tooling to support smooth manufacturing operations and uphold the highest quality standards. Working closely with Quality and Engineering youll identify opportunities for continuous improvement ensure tool availability and contribute to efficient safe and high-quality production processes.
JOB DUTIES
- Maintain prepare and oversee all moulds dies and related tooling to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Conduct post-production analyses to identify tooling wear damage and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve deviations update Standard Work and drive continuous improvement.
- Clean inspect and prepare tooling for repair or next production use ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged tooling components promptly to support uninterrupted production.
- Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance repair history and scheduling documentation.
- Support production with ad hoc troubleshooting and repairs on moulds trim dies and sprayer equipment.
- Apply Standard Work procedures consistently and contribute to process improvements where needed.
- Perform final quality checks and ensure tooling completeness cleanliness and readiness before release to production.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance or toolcrib environment.
- Technical background with hands-on experience in metalwork or related mechanical trades.
- Ability to lift and move tools and equipment safely.

- Strong knowledge of moulds dies and trim tooling design and maintenance.
